Lesson and Exercise Creation Guide

Whenever creating Lessons and Exercises

Lessons

1. Teach Concepts first
2. Use visualizations
3. Demonstrate skills with examples and live coding
4. Have them code along with you
5. Intersperse small practice sections (5-10 min. in length) throughout the lesson to immediately apply what is being taught

Exercises

1. Integrate and use all knowledge from lesson
2. Not be more difficult than lesson but be different enough to require them to apply knowledge
3. Possibly make small integration into previous lesson without introducing too much complexity
